Interpol’s new self-titled record is due September 7 via Matador, so, accordingly, the band has begun the usual promotional rounds on tour and hitting the late-night circuit. In case you missed it, below is a video of the New York City rockers performing their latest single “Barricade” on the “Late Show With David Letterman”. It was a good chance to check out the new lineup. The two new members, bassist Dave Pajo and keyboardist Brandon Curtis, gave solid performances and seemed to fit in quite well. Frontman Paul Banks was working it with his sunglasses-at-night look. Overall, the band gave a tight performance, looking as cool as ever. And after all the adversity the band has faced, this can only be a sign of good things to come. From all of us here at B-sides, we excitedly welcome back Interpol.
