On Thursday, I ran over to the Music Hall of Williamsburg after a long day of panels and a village lunch with friends. I just had to see Mumford and Sons again, along with my new favourite band from Australia, THE TEMPER TRAP!
“Sweet Disposition” is one of those songs that immediately grabs your ear and stays inside your brain. The single’s been a favourite the Australia’s Triple J radio and a huge hit on XFM, NME Radio, and BBC in the UK. Temper Trap’s native Australia can’t get enough of them; they’re already scheduled to play Big Day Out. The Temper Trap’s even sold out Shepard’s Bush Empire In London.
I’ve been waiting for a long time for the Temper Trap to arrive stateside. Luckily, they haven’t been massive in the states (It takes Americans a while to catch up sometimes..) and I got to catch them at a small venue. They performed a sweet but short set-list, which is listed here:
Intro
Rest
Fader
Fools
Down Review
Love Story
