Steel Train may have been around since the Clinton administration, but their music often sounds like it’s from when Lyndon B. Johnson was President. After all, they recorded an EP titled 1969, which contained cover versions of songs from that year that inspired the band. Steel Train garnered critical praise from their 2007 release, Trampoline and have toured with the likes of Hanson, The Shins, Silversun Pickups, and Tegan and Sara. The band will play numerous festivals in 2010, including Coachella, Bonnaroo, and the Bamboozle Festival. Check out their performance at our Butchershop Studios in San Francisco.
