The Black Parade has come and gone, and it’s a new chapter for My Chemical Romance.  Scheduled to be released in 2010, MCR’s currently-untitled album, will sound more aggressive yet feel “like a celebration of rock and roll. It feels like a true love letter to rock and roll”, as described by lead singer, Gerard Way.  The band has already acknowledged that the album won’t be high-concept with an overarching theme as their previous “Black Parade” album.  Each track will have its own story and take the listener on a magical journey.  Whether that journey leads to sunshine, unicorns and happiness or roach-infested sewers with wild rabid dogs remains to be seen.  MCR has been working with mega-producer, Brendan O’Brien, who also produced albums for Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen.  They just better make sure they don’t carry around loads of cash or goods.  Remember what happened to Jeff Ament of Pearl Jam when he was leaving the recording studios during the recording of “Backspacer”?
